As part of its commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs and access new markets, the SheTrades Mauritius Hub supported the participation of five Mauritian women-led businesses in the FIEO Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) held on 24–25 April 2025 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) in collaboration with the AP MSME Development Corporation, the eventbrought together Indian manufacturers with international buyers, providing a platform to explore sourcing opportunities across key sectors like textiles, healthcare, wellness, and Agro products.
Through this initiative, SheTrades Mauritius Hub facilitated meaningful access to new markets, direct supplier linkages, and strategic partnerships, contributing to the international exposure of Mauritian women entrepreneurs. The Hub also provided support in participant’s application process for the hosted buyer programme, which covered return airfare, hotel accommodation, meals, and local transport for selected international buyers.

The RBSM featured pre-scheduled B2B meetings, product showcases, and networking opportunities. Participants engaged directly with Indian manufacturers to explore collaborations, procurement deals, and long-term trade partnerships. The women entrepreneurs successfully signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with suppliers and potential partners, paving the way for future business cooperation.
The participation of the women entrepreneurs in this first RSBM proved to be an enriching experience on multiple fronts, especially on broadening market access, gaining insights into trends in the Indian export space, and identifying potential business synergies with Indian counterparts.
