“The project, supported by the ITC, aims to identify the needs and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Mauritius. The resulting report will spotlight barriers to trade, women’s participation in economic development, and factors inhibiting the internationalisation of women-led businesses, among others. The action plan will outline the program of work designed to foster the growth and success of women-led businesses.

The project conducted with the support of the ITC focuses on the identification of the needs and challenges for women entrepreneurs in Mauritius. The report will highlight the barriers to trade, participation of women in the economic development, factors hampering internationalization of women led businesses amongst others. The action plan will highlight the programme of work to be undertaken to enable women led businesses to thrive.
