As part of its ongoing efforts to empower women entrepreneurs and strengthen their access to international markets, the SheTrades Mauritius Hub facilitated the participation of two Mauritian women-led businesses in the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) held on 21–22 July 2025 in Mumbai, India.
Jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO – Western Region) and the Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC) under the RAMP initiative, the RBSM brought together Indian exporters and global buyers across sectors including textiles, agro-processing, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and wellness.
Through this initiative, the SheTrades Mauritius Hub facilitated market access and potential supplier linkages for Mauritian women entrepreneurs. It also supported their nomination through SheTrades India for the Hosted Buyer Programme, which covered return airfare, hotel accommodation, local transport, and meals for selected international delegates.

The RBSM concluded on 22 July 2025 in the presence of several dignitaries including:
- Dr. Uday Samant, Minister of Industries and Marathi Language, Government of Maharashtra
- Shri Prakash Surve, MLA, Magathane Vidhan Sabha
- Shri Deependra Singh Kushwah, Development Commissioner (Industries), Government of Maharashtra
- Shri Paresh Mehta, Regional Chairman, FIEO (WR)
The event welcomed over 1,000 MSME participants, featured delegates from 19 countries, facilitated more than 1,500 B2B meetings, and is expected to generate INR 12,080 crores in business over the next few years.
Participants from Mauritius had the opportunity to connect with multiple suppliers, explore collaborative ventures, and gain insight into current market trends in the Indian export landscape.
