In his opening remarks, Mr Deepak Deepchand, Country Manager of DHL Express Mauritius, reaffirmed DHL’s commitment to supporting Mauritian SMEs in their export journey. He noted that the objective of the training was to provide practical guidance, valuable insights and hands-on knowledge to help businesses navigate international trade with confidence. He emphasised that DHL specialists would share their expertise in simplifying cross-border trade, helping entrepreneurs understand global shipping processes and demonstrating how businesses can successfully expand into new markets.
The workshop focused on key business growth pillars essential for sustainable international expansion. Participants gained practical knowledge on customer experience and customer-centric strategies, financial fundamentals including pricing and cost calculations, sustainability in international trade and logistics, and innovation and continuous improvement for business expansion.
