The SheTrades Mauritius Hub, hosted by the Economic Development Board (EDB) Mauritius, participated in the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) – South Gujarat Region held in Surat, Gujarat, India from 01-02 May 2026. Organised under the Vibrant Gujarat Initiative, the conference served as a key platform for advancing international trade cooperation, MSME development, and cross-border business networking.
As part of the initiative, four women-led enterprises from Mauritius, selected under the SheTrades programme, took part in the mission and engaged actively in B2B meetings and networking sessions with Indian manufacturers and suppliers. The participating enterprises were later identified as Secret Grand Mere Co Ltd, EULOGEO, Eden Bliss Ltd, and Maison de Couture. The delegation explored strategic sourcing opportunities, product collaborations, and potential market expansion across sectors including textiles, wellness products, handicrafts, and agro processing.
The engagement resulted in strong commercial outcomes, with a total of 15 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the conference.
